Riverfest

Thank you for your interest in the 2017 Riverfest volunteer program.

Riverfest is a celebration of visual and performing arts that is held annually on the banks of the Arkansas River in Little Rock. Riverfest is the largest single event in the state of Arkansas with a rich tradition. Each year, close to 200,000 festival-goers attend the event, with an estimated economic impact of $33 million in the community. In 2016, Riverfest celebrated its 39th anniversary and for the first time was held in June, moving off the traditional Memorial Day weekend. Riverfest, Inc. also introduced a new event called "Springfest", which was held on April 2, 2016. Springfest is a one-day, free event for children & families.

Riverfest is proud to have a volunteer board consisting of 30 community leaders and a 250 member volunteer committee work year-round on the festival. As one of Riverfest's 1,500 festival volunteers, your 5-6 hour shift is key to the success of the event, making it possible to produce a quality family festival for a low admission price. Riverfest has been able to offer the festival at a fraction of the cost of other events because of the contributions of time and effort by you our volunteers!

Please Note: You MAY sign up for overlapping shifts if you are working in the same area for 2 shifts in a row. For example: Admissions Gate 1 12:30pm-6:00pm and 5:30pm-10:30pm. Select both and ignore the warning. Please only do this if you are able to work 2 shifts, back to back, in the SAME area.

Each Riverfest volunteer who signs up before May 15, 2017 is guaranteed to receive a free volunteer t-shirt for Riverfest.
